Dear Sirs,
As you may recall in early 1999, we informed you of the establishment of our company being able to handle all manner of marine claims and disputes in the shipping sector. In our previous circular, it was emphasized that our expertise can assist you with all forms of contractual disputes, arising under Charter Parties, Bills of Lading, Memoranda of Agreement, Hull Insurance, Cargo Claims and Debts recovery. We provide advice on all kinds of disputes under a voyage or Time Charter.
As a further service, we are able to deal with the negotiation and placing of both P&I, H & M cover on behalf of Owners, or other interests with a view to achieving the most competitive premiums and best range of cover.
We customary represent Shipowners, Shipmanagers, & Charterers while cooperating with P& I and Defence Clubs, always providing professional services whenever it is required throughout the year.

Arbitration
We have been actively involved in Arbitration proceedings in London and other countries for over seven years on behalf of Shipowners, Charterers or Disponent Owners representing either the Claimants or Respondents preparing and serving the necessary submissions during the proceedings from inception upto the issue of the award. We usually engage a very experienced shipping professional who has a long outstanding career as an arbitrator in London (member of LMAA & Baltic Exchange) and are glad to say all arbitrations so far have ended up with satisfactory results to our clients.

Demurrage/ Despatch Claims.
One of our principles has been actively involved in London exclusively on a variety of laytime and demurrage claims, thus providing this office with the expertise to handle such claims successfully.

Cargo Claims
We regularly attend to cargo shortage and damage claims, providing assistance to Owners, Disponent Owners, Charterers, P&I Club in order to defend suitably such claims and also on apportionment of liability under the interclub agreement if applicable.
We have handled during the last six years numerous cargo claims on behalf of our clients with great success.

Recovery of Undisputed Debts / Claims
We have recently undertaken the role of recovery agent and have been successful on behalf of our clients in collecting outstanding large and small debts at a reasonable percentage assessed on each debt or by issuing a very reasonable invoice for professional fees based on the volume of work involved.
You may have such old or new outstanding matters to which we would be glad to handle on your behalf.

Vessel’s Operation / Management
Moreover, our personnel is quite capable to advise Owners, Charterers’ shippers or Receivers on all aspects of problems or disputes arising from the vessel’s fixture upto completion of the voyage including the issue of “clean” Bills of lading, anticipated claims as a result of a party’s failure to perform, interpretation of Charter Party clauses, cases involving ship’s arrest, detention claims and laytime disputes.

Crew Claims
We are also capable of handling crew injuries on board ocean vessels and generally attend to claims between Claimants shipowners and P&I Clubs if covered by the Club.
