Blue Star Ferries corporate social responsibility program designates once more its sensitivity in issues which are related to the education and the support of young students in the Maritime Sector.

In this context Blue Star Ferries donated laboratory equipment to the 1st Technical Vocational Education School of Kalymnos.

This school is hosting for third year now a Maritime sector with specialization in educating Deck & Engine officers. It is the only school in the Dodecanese islands with this speciality and it serves many students from the wider region, as this area has a huge tradition in shipping.

The equipment was delivered by the executives of Blue Star Ferries who visited the island of Kalymnos and met the students and the teachers of the school.

This donation is part of the CSR program that includes many activities in the islands that Blue Star Ferries serves, as the company for a series of years, has discretely, been standing next to Municipalities and Communities, Parental Associations, Charitable and Social institutions, Churches, Cultural and Sport Clubs, the medical scientific community, aiming solely at the facilitation and the direct provision of support, whenever requested.
