ATHENS, GREECE – March 3 2008 -- Excel Maritime Carriers Ltd (NYSE: EXM), an owner and operator of dry bulk carriers and a provider of worldwide seaborne transportation services for dry bulk cargoes, announced today that on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, after the close of the market in New York it will release its results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2007.
