HALLIN ANNOUNCES US$4.5 MILLION
VIETNAM CONTRACT AWARD

Hallin Marine, the AIM quoted provider of subsea solutions to the oil and gas industry, announces it has been awarded a US$4.5 million contact by specialist floating productions systems company Modec Inc.

Under the terms of the contract award from Modec Inc, Hallin will provide a dynamically positioned Class 2 vessel, saturation diving system and specialist subsea personnel and operators to the Rang Dong Oil Field Block 15-2, approximately 140km offshore of Vung Tau, Southern Vietnam.

Hallin will carry out the installation of the Modec floating storage and offloading vessel (FSO), installing two 6 inch subsea risers. The FSO will have storage capacity in excess of 350,000bbls and the project is scheduled for installation in the 3rd qtr 2008.
