OOCL launches new Haiphong – Kaohsiung feeder service

OOCL is pleased to announce a new feeder service between Haiphong in north Vietnam and Kaohsiung in Taiwan. The new service is called the "Haiphong Kaohsiung Feeder" (HPH) and will be launched on July 9, 2008 from Haiphong.

The new service, comprising one 400 TEU vessel of loadable capacity, will be OOCL’s first dedicated service calling Haiphong, and displays our commitment to the growth and development of north Vietnam. The call at Kaohsiung can offer customers extended reach to destinations throughout Asia, U.S. and Europe.

Port rotation of the new service is: Haiphong - Kaohsiung – Haiphong. The service is weekly, with a midweek Haiphong call and a weekend call at Kaohsiung.
