Palmali Shipping purchases 2 aframax tankers

The Memorandum of Agreements for the purchase of 2 aframax tankers with DWT 105387 metric tons namely Champion and Harmony have been concluded on the 4th of July 2008. The delivery of the vessels will take place in the period of November and December of this year. Both vessels will be employed out of Cheyhan for the lifting of Azeri Light Crude Oil basis signed 10 years long term contract between Socar and Palmali. The ships built by Sumitomo Heavy Industries.
