Management change RH Netherlands, growth of RH Group

As from 1 May 2008 Guido Speelman assumed the function of General Manager of Radio Holland Netherlands Rotterdam. His predecessor Paul Smulders assumed the position of Global Operations Manager for the Radio Holland Group headquarters in Rotterdam. Guido Speelman has ample experience in managerial positions at several companies, such as KPN (Dutch supplier in telephone- internet- and television services) where he worked amongst others as General Manager and Senior Manager Operations. Paul Smulders held various positions in the last 19 year at Radio Holland in The Netherlands as well as in Asia. The last 6 years Paul Smulders held the position of General Manager for Radio Holland Netherlands.
As from May 2006 Radio Holland is part of Imtech N.V. and is growing steadily over the last years. At this moment Radio Holland has 60 branches all over the world along the most important waterways. Recently Radio Holland opened offices in Bergen (Norway), St. Catherines and Montreal in Canada and in Panama. Radio Holland also purchased the South African company Pertec S.A. and has now gained a leading position in the South African marine market. The turnover of Radio Holland amounted to € 157 mln in 2005 and has increased over the past two years up to € 212 mln. Radio Holland Netherlands is the largest RH branch and realized a growth of turnover of nearly € 10 mln during the last years.
Managed Services Agreements
The order book worldwide is well filled and the so-called MSA’s (Managed Services Agreements) take up a growing part in this. When such an agreement is concluded Radio Holland takes the responsibility to keep the NavCom equipment on board operational. By outsourcing the complete process through an MSA, the ship owner gains efficiency. More and more ship owners are interested in the Managed Services Agreements Radio Holland offers.
