CMA CGM announces rate increase on all origins and destinations
CMA CGM has decided on a general rate increase on all services and essentially Asia to Europe, Asia to Mediterranean sea, India/Pakistan to Europe and Asia to South America.
The present rates and the trend on the main Far East to Europe trades have been deteriorating to a level which is no longer sustainable.
To continue provide its valued customers with the same reliable and efficient services CMA CGM has done till now, the Group has decided to increase its freight rates on westbound and eastbound trades as of April 1st, 2009.
The rate increase will be communicated on March 1st, 2009.
