COSCO International Won Award in 2009 IR Global Rankings' Financial Disclosure Procedures

On 12th March 2009, COSCO International was awarded as one of the top five companies in the ranking of Financial Disclosure Procedures in the Greater China region in 2009 Investor Relations Global Rankings ("IRGR").

IRGR is the world's most recognized and comprehensive auditing and ranking system for investor relations of all listed companies around the world. The rankings cover four criteria including investor relations websites, financial disclosure procedures, corporate governance practices as well as investors' poll. The rankings are based on technical evaluations conducted by a team of specialists from MZ Consult and verified by an independent committee comprising independent audit and legal experts. In 2009, a total of 163 public companies took part in the IRGR, in which 19 were from the Greater China region.

The financial disclosure procedures of 2009 IRGR covered seven technical criteria including operating information, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, guidance, conference call and distribution.

The IRGR award from an international professional body is a great honor for COSCO International in recognition of their continued efforts in enhancing financial disclosure in recent years.
