OOCL opens new branch office in Mundra, India

OOCL is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch office in Mundra, India, on November 10, 2008. The new office is strategically located in North West India, in the state of Gujarat.
The opening marks an important milestone for OOCL India, and the opening of the new office will help to further strengthen OOCL’s position in the India market, enhance our network and provide customers with a Vital Link to world trade. It adds a new link to OOCL’s extensive global network of more than 280 offices, connecting customers with OOCL’s worldwide IT systems and quality services.
“The opening of our new Mundra office is part of our strategic plan for India, and will cater to the diverse needs of domestic and international businesses. We offer exceptional logistics and international maritime transportation services, as well as quality people with a “take it personally” spirit,” said Mr. Bernard Soh, managing director of OOCL India. “This office will allow us to cover the growing industrial and agricultural produce from Gujarat and Northern India. Mundra Port is also an important alternative gateway for North India, linking Asia, Australia, Europe and the US West Coast.”
The Mundra office offers a broad variety of liner and logistics business, including warehousing, transportation and a full spectrum of logistics services. OOCL offers two weekly services calling Mundra (CPX and IEX).
