Petrobras and YPF sign agreement to undertake
joint studies off the South Atlantic coast

Petrobras and Argentine energy outfit YPF signed an agreement to undertake offshore exploratory studies off the South Atlantic coast. The region is located in a zone that ranges from the south of the city of Porto Alegre (in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil) to the south of Tierra del Fuego, in Argentina.

The companies will contribute with their experience, technology, knowledge, and human resources to seek oil and gas exploratory opportunities in this area of the South Atlantic.
