in Khalifa Port and Mina Zayed

Abu Dhabi Terminals remains LTI Free

As part of Abu Dhabi Terminals commitment to safety, it has launched a companywide safety campaign in both Khalifa Port and Mina Zayed. This is aimed at raising safety awareness, for all port users and the need to regularly promote and maintain safe behavior, in all the facilities operated by Abu Dhabi Terminals.

Speaking after the launching of the campaign, Abu Dhabi Terminals Chief Executive Officer Martijn van de Linde said “ADT strongly believes that it is our responsibility to ensure the port user’s safety, this campaign is a great opportunity to raise awareness about safe behavior and to confirm how dangerous our business can be when safety rules are not followed.”

Abu Dhabi Terminals continues to be one of the industry leaders in safety performance as the LTI rate has decreased by over a third compared to the same period last year. LTI – Lost Time Injury – is recognized globally as a key indicator for a company’s safety performance. ADT performance since the beginning of this year remains at Zero LTI which meets the company goals for 2013
