This new ship, which will join the fleet in the coming months, has state-of-the-art innovations that make it unique in its class. This eco-efficient fast ferry began construction in December 2018, at the Armon shipyard in Gijon. This company coordinated the project and implemented the systems engineering, with the support of the Valencian engineering enterprise Cotenaval. The Australian firm Incat Crowther was in charge of the design; and the engines, the propulsion system, and the gas plant were manufactured by the Finnish company Wartsila. The Norwegian Marintek-Sintef institute carried out the channel tests, while the classification was undertaken by Bureau Veritas. The architectural and interior design are the work of the naval architects Oliver Design and the interior designer Jorge Belloch.
