Blue Star Ferries receives «Passenger Line of the Year 2011»<br>Award by Lloyd’s List

Blue Star Ferries has been voted «Passenger Line of the Year 2011» in Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards. The award was presented to Blue Star Ferries at a gala dinner with over 1,000 participants from the Greek shipping community in Athens on 2nd December, 2011.

The panel of judges consisted this year of the Presidents of Greece’s major shipping associations, along with two Professors of Shipping and Financial Management and the Lloyd’s List correspondent in Greece.
<br><br>
Blue Star Ferries recognition by Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards comes as an acknowledgment of the company’s continuous efforts to maintain a modern fleet of ferries connecting today the Greek mainland to 23 island destinations as well as for the newbuilding plans for two more ferries, the Blue Star Delos delivered in October 2011 and Blue Star Patmos due for delivery in the Spring of 2012.
