Inspectorate Opens New Crude Oil Testing and Inspection
Facility in Williston, North Dakota

Houston – 21 May 2014

Inspectorate, a core part of the Bureau Veritas Commodities Division, announced today the opening of a new analytical laboratory, specializing in the analysis of crude oil and gas produced from the Bakken shale play in North Dakota.

The new laboratory will provide support services for oil and gas drillers, shipping companies and traders needing real time data for crude oil quality in North Dakota. The facility will also provide shipping services for sample transportation and serve as a regional hub for Inspectorate’s new Measurement Services division.

“Due to the increasing production of crude oil in the Bakken, it is imperative for Inspectorate to have strong local presence to support our clients and examine the quality of their product at all levels,” said Greg Wetmore, Regional Director, Inspectorate America Corporation.
