Naming Ceremony of No.7 and No.8 39500 DWT BC Held

At 10:00 a.m.on October 9th, the naming ceremony of No.7 & No.8 39,500 dwt bulk carriers built by Chengxi Shipyard for China Navigation Company was held in Chengxi Shipyard. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Martin Cresswell, Fleet Director of China Navigation, Mr.Adrian Harley, Chief Representative of John Swire & Sons (China) Ltd, Lady sponsors Mrs.Sophie Admunds, and Mrs. Rosanna Rixson, Mr. Nikolaos Skaribas, Marine Operation Manager of Greater China, LR, Mr. Ji Jun, Vice President and Mr. Zhou Jianxiang, Assistant President of Chengxi Shipyard.

Mrs. Sophie Admunds named the No.7 into “Erisort”and Mrs. Rosanna Rixson named No.8 into “Eriskay. The both lady sponsors wished the new vessels a fair sea voyage.
