19 November 2014 At 1:28 p.m.on November 17, the newly-fabricated bulbous bow was lifted into Hengshan Floating Dock for erection with the existing part of MV Ikebana. According to the schedule, the optimization project for MV Ikebana, including bulbous bow renewal, will be completed within twelve days of docking period to improve propulsion efficiency and to reduce oil consumption.
