The naming ceremony for No.42 64K BC was held 20 February 2016 Victory report from Chengxi Shipyard at 11:18 a.m. on Feb. 5: the naming ceremony for No.42 64K bulk carrier built for Dalnave was held on the outfitting quay of Chengxi. Present at the ceremony were representatives of owners and classifications, Mr. Rong Yao, Vice General Manager of European Department, CSTC, Mr. Zhou Jianxiang, Vice-President of Chengxi Shipyard and other related leaders and guests. On the ceremony, Mrs. Evangelia Dimaratou, the lady sponsor named the new vessel into “M.V. ANDROMEDA”, and wished a safe journey and a promising future. The valuable experience accumulated from the construction of the great ship will lay a solid foundation to the following newbuilding projects and contribute to further cooperation between both companies. M.V. ANDROMEDA, the No.42 64K bulk carrier built for Dalnave, departed from Chengxi Shipyard at 13: 28 p.m. on Feb.6.
