Chengxi Shipyard celebrated the steel cutting for 2# 21,500dwt SUL bulk carrier

On the morning of April 10, 2020, Chengxi Shipyard celebrated the steel cutting for a 21,500DWT self-unloading bulk carrier which is the second sister vessel built for Oldendorff, the world-largest player in bulker sector.

The cooperation between Oldendorff and Chengxi dates back to the year of 2005 when M/V HARMEN OLDENDORFF berthed for self-unloading conversion.

Over the past fifteen years both companies have maintained stable business relationship both in ship conversion and newbuilding including six self-unloading conversions(all redelivered), six scrubber retrofitting projects (two redelivered) and newbuilding of two 21,500DWT self-unloading bulk carriers (under construction)
