Chengxi Shipyard Wins Bulkers Order from Parakou Shipping

Parakou Shipping has placed an order with China based Chengxi Shipyard for four 64,000dwt bulkers. The order stipulates an option for additional eight vessels, two batches of four units, of the same type.

The vessels will incorporate SDARI Dolphin 64 design. That kind of bulk carrier is an energy-efficient, environmentally-friendly, and economic Supermax vessel.

Delivery of the vessels is scheduled for March, May, July and September of 2015. It is significant to mention previous Chengxi Shipyard ‘s order for three 64,000dwt bulkers from Greathorse Group.
