July, 27 - The No.3 47,700 DWT bulk carrier built by Chengxi for Shenghuazhonghai Shipping Co., Ltd was successfully launched in Shipbuilding Line No.3 at Qidong.
The no.4 - 49,000 dwt vessel
was launched successfully

On Sep.16, 2012, the No.4 49,000 DWT vessel, built for Shanghai Times Shipping Company, was launched successfully on Ship building line No. 3 at Qidong. Mr Ji Jun, Vice president of Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd, the owners, the surveyors, and the related dept. heads participated in the launching ceremony.
The no.4 - 71,900 dwt SUL vessel

On the afternoon of Jan.10, 2013, the No.4 71,900 DWT SUL vessel built by Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd for Norwegian owners, got launched in shipbuilding line No.1. The representatives of the owners, surveyors, Mr. Cao Xueming, Vice President, Mr. Ji Jun, Vice President and heads from other related departments of Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd participated in this launching ceremony.
At 14:30, the No.4 71,900 DWT SUL vessel slipped gradually into the Yangtze River, indicating the success of launching ceremony.
It is said that the No.4 71,900 DWT SUL vessel began the slipway erection on Nov.2, 2012. With the continuous rain badly influencing the slipway erection, the Hull Workshop pulled efforts together to overcome the difficulties by innovating the technique and having 48 pairs of blocks for middle assembling, paving way for the successful slipway erection.
