China Shipping (Africa) Holding Company Limited was founded in Johannesburg of South Africa. About 120 distinguished guests, including commercial counselor of Chinese Embassy in South Africa Rong Yansong, President XuLirong, CEO of South Africa state terminal Tau Morwe, CEO of Bank of China Johannesburg Branch Qiu Zhikun, General Manager of Africa Area of Citi bank Manekia Amin, Chief Secretary of South Africa – China chamber of commerce Wei Zhong and others from 70 shipping, logistics, manufacturing enterprises.

During the ceremony, on behalf of Chinese Embassy, Counselor Xu Yansong made a congratulation speech, in which he positively confirmed the development China Shipping made in recent years in Africa. The founding of China Shipping Africa Holding fully depicts the group company’s strategy of “going global”. He wished the holding company would speed up its development, actively blend into local society, make greater contributions to the exchange between China and Africa.

On behalf of the group company, President Xu Lirong made a speech, saying that China Shipping Group would focus on the development in Africa, give the Holding company more support for bigger investment, broad network with the aim of being a comprehensive logistic service provider on the basis of liner transport for the trade between China and Africa.
