August 2015 On July 29th, CSCL and Hudong-Zhonghua signed a ship building contract of eight 13500TEU container ships. CSCL president Zhao Hongzhou, Hudong-Zhonghua managing VP Huang Yiping and China Shipbuilding Trading Company president Li Hongtao signed on the contract on behalf of the three. China Shipping chairman Xu Lirong, vice president Ding Nong, CSSC Chairman Dong Qiang, vice president Nan Daqing attended the signing ceremony. The eight 13500TEU container ships have great function in terms of technique, towage and energy conservation. The series will optimize China Shipping’s container fleet structure and enhance the competitiveness of the fleet.
