CIMC, NSSC and BaoSteel Set up a New Joint Venture

On August 21, 2013, the signing ceremony for Xin Zhongbao Steel Processing Trade Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Xin Zhongbao”) is held in Shenzhen. As a new joint venture, this company is set up by CIMC, NSSC and Baosteel together with other relevant traders. Mr. Mai Boliang, the President of CIMC Group, the executive director of NSSC in Fandao area, and Mr. Yao Linlong, the general manager of Shanghai Baosteel International Co., ltd, together with other distinguished attendees, attend this ceremony.

Xin Zhongbao registered in Yantai. It aims to provide thick steel plate processing service of marine platform, such as offshore marine platform leg steel and rack steel processing, worldwide and especially for China marine enterprises. Besides, it’s supposed to provide materials for 12 sets of jack-up platforms’ legs per year.

Xin Zhongbao will make full use of cooperative resources from all parties and its expertise, to produce high-quality leg materials and rack steel, which will support marine industry upgrading, develop supporting industries, enhance innovation ability and meanwhile, promote Xin Zhongbao to grow up as the leading company in international steel plate processing industry field.
