Clipper Excalibur is state-of-the-art in terms of efficiency, economy and ecology. The vessel’s current voyage is taking her in ballast from India to Brazil – to load a Panamax stem of grain for discharge in China. This is made possible by the vessel’s impressive cargo capacity and eco fuel consumption. In addition to an efficient eco speed, high capacity, and the economic long-distance ballast sailing possibility, the Supramax vessel has the benefit of being geared with four 30 mt cranes and grabs. Clipper Excalibur will be joined by her sister vessel, the MV Clipper Excelsior, during the first quarter 2014.
