CMA CGM announces rate restoration program
between Europe and Indian Ocean Islands.

In a continued effort to provide its customers with the same reliable and efficient services to which they are accustomed, the CMA CGM Group has decided to restore freight rates between Europe and Indian Ocean Islands to a sustainable level.

New rate increases will apply to all cargo and commodities moving southbound from North Europe, UK, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy to the Indian Ocean Islands: La Réunion, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles and Islamic Comoros, effective October 15, 2009.

The increase quantum will be as follows:

Europe – Indian Ocean Islands: + EUR 150 per teu
