CMA CGM: launch of Noura Express

CMA CGM is pleased to announce the launch of the direct service Noura Express from Middle East to Somalia.





The service will connect at Khor Fakkan with CMA CGM long haul services from / to worldwide to reach Mogadishu, Somalia.

The Noura Express will start as of January 29th, 2014, with M/V CMA CGM KAILAS voyage DB227R, deploying 1,854 TEU capacity with 21-day frequency.

Noura Express full rotation is as follows: Jebel Ali (day 1) – Khor Fakkan (day 2) – Salalah (day 3) – Mogadishu (day 6) – Jebel Ali.

Mathieu Friedberg, Senior Vice President African Lines CMA CGM, explains: “We strongly believe in the recovery of the Somalian economy and are proud to launch the Noura Express, offering worldwide connections to and from Mogadishu. This is the first milestone of our growth plan in this region and there will be more developments in the months ahead.”
