Situation in Suez Canal

Dear valued Customers,

Following the on-going incident in the Suez Canal, CMA CGM Group is thoroughly monitoring the situation in close contact with its local teams and the Suez Canal's authorities.

According to our information, no injury, damage to cargo or pollution was reported. Refloating attempts are being carried out by the owners of the vessel in coordination with Suez Canal Authorities.

However, many vessels are currently waiting for passage through Suez Canal.

So far, 2 CMA CGM Group vessels are queuing in Suez Canal, waiting to enter the passage. 4 more Group vessels are expected today.

At this stage, we are working on our schedule recovery plans after transit passage to limit delay at destination.
