Shipbuilding Contracts

The Board of Directors of COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited (the “Company”)
wishes to announce that COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd. (being a subsidiary of the
Company’s 51% owned COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd) had made effective on 31
March 2010 two shipbuilding contracts awarded by an Asian shipowner for the building of
two units of bulk carriers of 57,000 dwt each.
The shipbuilding contracts were for approximately RMB530 million in aggregate.
Deliveries of the vessels are scheduled to be between July 2011 and November 2011.
None of the directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or
indirect in the transaction.
The transaction is not expected to have any material impact on the net tangible assets (NTA)
and earnings per share (EPS) of the Company and the Group for the year ending 31 December 2010.
