Conversion Of Large Crude Carrier Tanker To FPSO Vessel

The Board of Directors of COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited (the “Company”) wishes to announce that its subsidiary, COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd. (being a subsidiary of the Company’s 51% owned subsidiary, COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd) has secured one contract to convert one Large Crude Carrier Tanker, MT “Sunrise Jewel”, to a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel for a Japanese ship-owner.

The FPSO for the Japanese ship-owner is designed to operate for 20 years without dry-docking.

It will have a capacity of the crude oil processing of 28,600 Sm3/day of liquid, gas processing & compression of 8,000,000 Sm3/day and a storage capacity of 1,600,000 barrels of oil (“bbl”).

The FPSO will be deployed in the Cernambi –Sul Field, offshore Brazil. None of the directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect in the contract.
