7 June 2023 On May 25, a 82,000-dwt bulk carrier "AURORA BOREALIS" (Hull No. N1081) of Prodigy, Greece, built by CHI (Yangzhou), was successfully delivered at Changxing Island, Shanghai. "AURORA BOREALIS" is the first vessel in a series of three vessels built by CHI (Yangzhou), with an overall L*B*D size of 229m* 32.26m* 20.35m, a structural draft of 14.5m and a design speed of 14 knots. The vessel is registered by BV, meets Tier III emission requirements, and can fit in both the old and new Panama Canal.
