First 82,500-ton Bulk Carrier in Laskaridis Series Built

On the morning of May 29, 2025, the first 82,500-ton bulk carrier (Hull No. N1211) built by CHI(Yangzhou) for Greek shipowner Laskaridis Shipping was successfully launched from Dock No.1 as scheduled. Representatives from the shipowner, on-site supervision team, DNV surveyors, and CHI staff attended the ceremony.

This self-developed bulk carrier series meets latest HCSR specifications, emission requirements, and EEDI Phase 3 standards. With a length of 229.0 meters, beam of 32.26 meters, depth of 20.35 meters, and structural draft of 14.55 meters, the design emphasizes low-carbon operation and energy efficiency. CHI(Yangzhou)'s team resolved technical challenges during initial construction at Dock No.1, accumulating critical data and management experience for subsequent vessels in the series.
