N247 Sea Trials

On December 11th, the second 57,000 dwt bulk carrier (N247), being built for the British owner OCEAN AGENCIES LIMITED, accomplished its sea trials successfully in COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard.

It took less than 40 hours to finish off all of the relevant inspections and tests and, once again, a new record was set for the time taken by the yard to complete seatrials for a newbuilding.

It is reported that COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard will spare no effort to get the various follow-up jobs done well, with delivery by the end of this month.
