Ceremony for M/V MG SHIPIING Completion of Conversion

A ceremony was held on 27th, June, 2009 in COSCO Dalian Shipyard to celebrate the completion of M/V MG SHIPPING (ex. MT TAKAYAMA) for NYK. The VLCC to VLOC conversion is scheduled to be re-delivered on 30th, June, 2009.

This project was the second VLCC conversion project offered by NYK Line to COSCO Shipyard Group within two years. During the course of the conversion, the shipyard repair team and NYK site team have been keeping in close communication to solve difficulties by positive and highly efficient cooperation. Having made great efforts the shipyard eventually lead the project to a successful completion with good quality and in good time for the owner.

Both NYK and COSCO Shipyard expressed their appreciation of each other's endeavor and showed their willingness to develop more and better cooperation in the future. COSCO Shipyard
