Two 57000 dwt Bulk Carriers Delivered

"Ingrid C", the 57,000DWT bulk carrier being built for EF Shipping, completed sea trials successfully and returned to COSCO Dalian Shipyard on 13th Sep. The 78-hour sea trials broke the COSCO Shipyard Group sea trials record.

Having completed sea trials, the "Ingrid C" was delivered to the ship owner on 25th Sep, 2009. "Chang Shun II", the newly built 57,000DWT bulk carrier for Changshun Shipping Inc., was delivered on the same day.

Mr. Lu Fugen, the Managing Director of Changshun Shipping, Mr. Sui Chundong, the Deputy Managing Director of Changshun Shipping, Mr. Yan Chengxiang, the General Manager of COSCO Dalian Shipyard and representatives from Bureau Veritas (BV) and COSCO Bulk Carrier Trading witnessed the delivery ceremony of "Changshun II". During the Delivery and Acceptance Ceremony Mr. Lu Fugen congratulated COSCO Dalian Shipyard, BV and COSCO Bulk Carrier Trading project team members and expressed his appreciation for their hard work. Mr. Lu also expressed the company's sincere wish to continue to cooperate with COSCO Dalian Shipyard and to achieve mutual development.

The 57,000DWT bulk carrier is 189.99m in length, 32.26m in breadth and 18m in depth, has a speed of 14.2 knots and a scantling draft of 12.8m.
