105k Shuttle Tanker Bow Block Launched

The bow block of the first vessel of the 105k shuttle tanker series was launched in COSCO Nantong Shipyard on 7th Oct.

The bow block comprises 115 sub-blocks and 8,500 tonnes of steel structure.

The shuttle tanker is designed by COSCO Shipyard Group and is a special type of crude oil tanker built specially to carry oil from offshore oil platforms and other offshore oil producing installations.
