"ANANGEL HAILI" Completes Conversion

Converted from a VLCC, the Kristen Navigation VLOC "ANANGEL HAILI" set sail from COSCO Dalian Shipyard on the 6th Oct. The conversion work scope included the fabrication of the double bottom, five additional longitudinal girders and an additional 1/2 floor, the strengthening of the tank framing, the addition of 10 hatches with hatch covers on the deck and the renewal of the deck around the hatches. The conversion comprises about 95,000 tonnes of steel structure together with piping, electrical and outfitting work.

COSCO Dalian Shipyard has converted four VLCCs into VLOCs so far this year.
