Delivery of 30K DWT MPP HCV "ADAM ASNYK"

COSCO Dalian Shipyard, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipyard Group, successfully delivered a newbuild 30K DWT Multi-Purpose Heavy Crane Vessel (MPP HCV) to Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping (CHIPOLBROK) at a delivery ceremony on 5th Nov, 2009. At the naming ceremony the MPP HCV was named "ADAM ASNYK" by Ms. Janina Mentrak from the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure.

At the naming ceremony, key representatives from the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure, the Polish Embassy in China, Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping, the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, the COSCO Group, Dalian City Government, Polish Register, China Classification Society and the COSCO Shipyard Group, among others, celebrated the successful naming of the 30K DWT MPP HCV.

"ADAM ASNYK" is the first of a series of four MPP HCV being constructed by COSCO Dalian Shipyard. 199.80m in length, 27.80m in breadth and 15.50m in depth, the 30K DWT MPP HCV has a scantling draft of 11.00m, a loading capacity of 1,904 TEU, a speed of 19.2 knots and a range of 15,000 sea miles. She is equipped with four cranes, including two 320 tonne cranes.
