Delivery of B INDIA

B INDIA, a bulk carrier owned by Portunato & C SRL, set sail from COSCO Lianyungang Shipyard on the 14th April.

During the 12 day repair period, COSCO Lianyungang Shipyard completed the reinstallation of a hydraulic motor, hydraulic pump, control valve and gear case, as well as the installation of crane booms, among other things.

On the day B INDIA set sail there were 8 vessels in the yard. To guarantee the successful sailing of B INDIA and ensure the safe mooring of other vessels in the yard, COSCO Lianyungang Shipyard¡¯s production department adjusted the anchoring arrangement, arranging for another vessel to be towed further out to sea to give way to her.
