BANOS A (N151) Delivery

The BANOS A (N151), the 57,000DWT bulk carrier built for Greek EFSHIPPING, was delivered in COSCO Dalian Shipyard on May 20, 2010. Mr. Fasilis, the General Manager of EFSHIPPING, and Mr.Yan Chengxiang, the General Manager of COSCO Dalian Shipyard, signed the delivery agreement.

The BANOS A is the last vessel in the three 57,000DWT bulk carrier series built for Greek EFSHIPPING. It took only 83 days from her launch to her delivery. The whole-vessel integrity has improved greatly and the improved construction period for each vessel has beaten the previous record for similar vessels in COSCO Dalian Shipyard.

On May 23rd, the BANOS A pulled away from COSCO Dalian Shipyard and started her maiden voyage.
