N228 Sets Sail

"ALMYROS" the 57000DWT bulk carrier (N228) being built for Greek owner SEA TRADERS, set sail on her maiden voyage from COSCO Guangdong Shipyard on the afternoon of October 8th.

The shipowner highly praised the shipbuilding competence and performance of the yard at the delivery ceremony, and expressed a wish to engage in deeper cooperation with the Guangdong shipyard in the future.

As the ninth 57000DWT bulk carrier to be built by COSCO Guangdong Shipyard, N228 made remarkable progress in areas such as technology improvement in shafting alignment, process control of sea trials, and application of correction measures for the owners' suggestions.
