It is the fifth Aframax tanker to bulk carrier conversion project conducted by COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard, which has successfully converted four such projects: Tian Sheng 7, Hong Express, Hong Ocean and Ratna Shalini. COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard has built up a lot of experience in Aframax tanker to bulk carrier conversions, especially in respect of quality management, ultrasonic examination and radiographic testing, all of which had a higher acceptance rate when compared with the previous conversion projects.
