Notice of Emergency Bunker Surcharge (EBS) Increase for Taiwan Trade

In order to maintain the stable and high quality service to customers, COSCO Container Lines would like to announce an increase in Emergency Bunker Surcharge (EBS) for both bound shipments in North China/Taiwan Service from 19 July 2009.
The new Emergency Bunker Surcharge (EBS) is as follows:

Per 20' CTR RMB600
Per 40' CTR RMB1200

NOTE:
1. Including following ports in Taiwan: Kaohsiung,Keelung,Taichung and all inland points via these base ports.
2. Including following ports in the North China: Dalian, Tianjin Xingang, Qingdao, Lianyungang and all inland points via these base ports.
3. Effective Date: from JULY 19th, 2009 till next notice.
4. EBS should be paid at the ports in Mainland China.
