6 May, 2010 Beijing, Captain Wei Jiafu, President & CEO of COSCO Group met with H.E. Theodore Georgakelos, Ambassador of Greece to China, at COSCO's head office building, Beijing Ocean Plaza. Captain Wei expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Georgakelos for his contributions to building up the friendship between China and Greece, and for his long support to COSCO's business developments in Greece. Captain Wei also briefed the visiting Ambassador COSCO's recent operations of the PCT project in Piraeus. Ambassador Theodore also expressed his expectation for a successful and fruitful visit to be made soon by Captain Wei and his COSCO delegation later in May 2010. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Zhao Yali from China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and senior executives from COSCO's executive and transport divisions.
