Captain Wei Visited Greek Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks
On the morning of 20 May 2010, Athens, Captain Wei Jiafu and his senior COSCO delegation paid a visit to Hon. Dimitris Reppas, the Greek Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks. The Minister briefed Captain Wei and his delegation on the infrastructure projects that Greek government offers for potential overseas investors. Captain Wei introduced the current progress of COSCO's PCT project at the port of Piraeus, expressing his hope that COSCO is willing to deepen its cooperative ties with the shipping, port and business communities of Greece.
Soon after the visit, Captain paid another visit to the logistics center in Elefsis operated by Diakinisis, one of the largest logistics companies in Greece. The senior management of the most reputable Greek logistics company made a presentation for Captain Wei and his delegation on the Company profile and the potential logistics center project it plans to get involved.
