13386 TEU "COSCO ITALY" Christened

On April 18, the christening ceremony of 13386-TEU container ship MV. COSCO ITALY was grandly held at Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering. Mr. Han Chengmin, President of NACKS, Mr. Deng Huangjun, Chief Financial Officer of COSCON and other guests from COSCON, COSCOSHIP and American Bureau of Shipping attended and witnessed the ceremony. Ms. Yu Tao, Assistant Managing Director of COSCON, christened the new ship.

MV. COSCO SPAIN is the sixth of a series of eight 13,386 TEU vessels being built for COSCON by Nantong Shipyard (NACKS). The COSCO ITALY will be deployed on the COSCON CKYH Joint North Europe Express Service 3 (NE3).

The port rotation of CKYH Joint North Europe Express Service 3 (NE3) is: Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Xingang.
