Dalian port reopens to maritime traffic

After the Accident, the maritime authority of Dalian has imposed certain temporary navigation control at Xingang area and all the terminals at Xingang area and the adjacent Dayaowan area were required to cease operations. The work organized by the relevant government authorities to clean the oil spill on the sea is under full swing.

At the date of this announcement, all terminals at Xingang area and Dayaowan area have resumed operations except for the crude oil terminal of the Group. While the ground operations at the Group’s crude oil terminal have been resumed, the Group will take active measures to resume the vessel loading and unloading operations in the near future.

As disclosed in the Announcement, certain ancillary facilities of the Group including certain pipelines and control systems have suffered damages and losses. The Group has been using its best endeavours to repair and clean the damaged facilities.

Meanwhile, the Group is conducting a thorough inspection and checking on the status of other facilities at its oil terminal. The handling and storage capacity of the Group for refined oil and liquefied chemicals has not been affected by the Accident while part of its handling and storage operations for crude oil has been temporarily affected. The Group has commenced the process of claiming on the insurance policy in relation to the Accident.
