handysize vessel M/T Cielo Di Parigi for US$ 13,600,000


Luxembourg, March 10th, 2014

d’Amico International Shipping S.A. (Borsa Italiana: DIS), an international marine transportation company operating in the product tanker market, following the press release issued on November 21st 2013, announces that its operating subsidiary d’Amico Tankers Limited (Ireland) agreed with clients of Sea World Management, SAM of Monaco for the sale of the Handysize product tanker vessel M/T Cielo di Parigi (the “Vessel”), built in 2001 by Daedong Shipbuilding South Korea (the “MOA”) for the amount of US$ 13,600,000.

The sale consider the payment of US$ 1,360,000 by the Buyer equal to 10% of the Vessel sale price, as deposit amount, pursuant to the signed Vessel’s contract purchase. This deposit has been paid into a joint account in the names of Buyers and Sellers following the signed agreement.






d’Amico Tankers Limited Fleet includes n. of 40.5 double-hulled tankers (MR and Handysize product tankers) with an average age of about 5.6 years (of which 21 owned vessels and 19.5 chartered-in vessels).

d’Amico Tankers Limited has also a total of 8 newbuilding product tanker shipbuilding contracts, which include 4 MR and 4 Handysize vessels, at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd. and in addition to this DIS has n. 1 vessel in construction in JV with Venice and Shipping Logistics S.p.A.
