MS Godafoss stranded outside Fredrikstad, Norway

Eimskip's container vessel, Godafoss, came to a standstill on a reef just outside the port of Fredrikstad, Norway, Thursday February 17th. The vessel is currently stranded, with assessments being made in co-operation with Norwegian authorities.

At the current time the vessel will not be vacated as the weather conditions are good in the area. Further news on the proceedings will be published here on port as soon as possible.
