Finneagle off ground in the port of Kapellskär

MS Finneagle, which was grounded in the port of Kapellskär this morning, is afloat and has been berthed safely.

Divers are inspecting the damage.

The ship has a total of 168 passengers and 30 crew members onboard. Nobody was injured in the accident. Passengers can disembark at around 11 a.m. Swedish time.

MS Finneagle grounded in the port of Kapellskär in Sweden this morning due to technical fault of the main engines.

There are altogether 168 passengers and 30 crew members on board. Passengers and crew are safe and nobody has been injured.

There is no danger to the vessel and attempts are under way to get her off ground and to be moved to the quay in order to estimate the damages and possible continuation of the voyage.

The next release will be published within three hours.
